Vanessa hasn’t let her curvylicious plus-size body keep her from having a solid career, great friends and a crappy love life. Oh, wait – yeah, her sex life blows, and not in the fun way. A string of unsatisfying relationships and a best friend who drags her to a BDSM club help her step full swing into her dirty thirties.
Cade the Stoic Dom, always in control but never in love, is drawn to Vanessa’s size 20 submissive streak. He can’t keep his hands (or his tongue or any other part of his body) off this voluptuous new sub. Her open and honest exploration of her new found kinks excite him like no one else he’s ever been with.
Amazing orgasms and intimate cuddles soon grow into love for Vanessa, but Cade’s the one person everyone has told her not to develop feelings for. Cade drops his subs the moment they express deeper feelings for him. What’s a girl to do?
She’ll have to dump his ass before he discovers how she feels or be the curvy temptation he can’t resist.
Thank you! A lead female protagonist with some booty. This book is a wonderfully sexy romp melded to of my favorite sub-genres-Curvy woman and BDSM.
Vanessa’s best friend Danika takes Nessa (Vanessa) out to her favorite BDSM club one fateful night. This part is similar to other stories, right? The vanilla girl is repulsed yet oddly attracted to the naughtiness…not in Aidy Award’s Curvy Temptation. Instead Nessa is fascinated by it all. And lucky for her, she catches the eye of the hottest Dom in the room, Cade. Yup, totally awesome Dom name.
So Cade takes Nessa on a slow dance to sexual submission. And it is a rather sensual slow dance. Along the way, the reader discovers that Nessa has a great sense of humor and an open, sweet way of looking at the world. She’s not naïve, just new to the scene.
Ms. Award has a light, fun way of writing scenes that doesn’t take itself to seriously but let’s some real emotion shine through. I really appreciated her gentle touch.
“I’m not. You and Angelina warned me not to fall for him. So, I haven’t and I won’t. Just because we play around doesn’t mean I have more than feelings of affection for him.” That even sounded stupid to my ears. Dani’s eyebrow agreed with my ears. “As long as you know what you’re doing.” I had no idea.
Vanessa has a biting sarcasm that doesn’t wear down the reader. And she is a woman who may like it rough but she will give as good as she gets. And I really liked that about her.
Don’t be fooled by the cute cover art, this book has solid BDSM scenes in it. But it is also a really enjoyable, erotic read. Well done Ms. Award.
