All's fair in love and war when the Reindeer Games are in play!

Santa didn't give bad boy Elf Brody his Christmas wish. Instead of sexy Beryl, he's stuck with goody-goody Holly for a partner. But Brody discovers the best gifts aren't always wrapped in the fanciest paper and Holly is so sweet, she melts on his tongue.

Reindeer Games: Wicked Game by Lily Vega is a sweet holiday romance that I enjoyed a lot. It is Brody and Holly’s story. This is another new to me author and I will be looking into reading more of her books. I liked her writing style and her characters very much. I like this series of books so far as well. Reindeer Games: Wicked Game is about not “judging a book by its cover” and finding love in the most unexpected areas.

Brody is an elf and he is ornery. He likes his job but there have been a lot of changes lately. He isn’t allowed to be himself with all the new changes. His job is on the line and if he doesn’t get things straight he will headed somewhere he doesn’t want to be. Santa has set up reindeer games as a way to help young reindeer condition and prepare for pulling the sleigh. This year it will be a team competition and he is paired with Holly a new elf that is a little too goodie two shoes for his liking. He needs to work with her to make sure that he keeps his job. Holly just got a job working for Santa and she is so excited even though she isn’t exactly welcomed by her fellow elf Beryl and her partner for the reindeer games. When she finds out his job is in jeopardy she is determined to help him and to win the games. The more they work together the more he sees there is more to her than meets the eye and the more he is attracted to her. It is something he wants to explore but Beryl isn’t making things easy for either of them. Can the two of them overcome the obstacles put in their paths and find true love? Or will they both find themselves in over their heads?

I really enjoyed Reindeer Games: Wicked Game. I loved Holly and her peppy sweet attitude. I liked that she didn’t let anything get her down. She was the perfect match for Brody. I liked the chemistry between the two of them. I also liked that it wasn’t love at first sight. I liked that Brody was a bit of a bad boy elf even if he seemed kind of shallow at first. I liked that he was able to figure out that beauty isn’t everything. I didn’t like Beryl she was manipulative and mean character and I wouldn’t want to run into her at all. I would highly recommend Reindeer Games: Wicked Game to anyone who enjoys Christmas romances.
